Pat Robertson: Can't believe scientists unless they "were there"

Evidently, the fields of cosmology, evolutionary biology, paleontology, archaeology, etc., are invalid because the scientists were "not there."  Guess what, Pat?  You weren't there when God said "let there be light" either.  You weren't in the Garden of Eden when a talking snake gave the apple to Eve.  You didn't witness the universal flood.  You didn't see the burning bush.  You didn't witness the Sermon on the Mount.  And yet you expect us to listen to you!

He goes on to contradict himself in connection with geologists.  Apparently, if they tell you that something is 300 million years old, we can believe them.  Huh?
